What is a Refinishing?

Refinishing, also known as resurfacing, reglazing or re-enameling is the process of refreshing the surface of a worn, damaged to a like-new condition. This process typically involves repairing any damaged areas. Chips or cracks are repaired using Bondo or another type of polyester putty. After repairs are made the surface is prepped with special cleaning and insulation techniques. After preparing the surface, primer is applied, followed a high quality paint applied on the surface. After 24 hours the surface will be dry, shiny and looking like new.

Almost all surfaces can be refinishing. However the most usual are:

  • Iron Bathtubs

  • Fiberglass Bathtubs

  • Sinks

  • Countertops

  • Wall tiles
